What do you do with your best 4-legged friend when you want to go for a long or overnight trip? Bring him. Pet haulers can not only carry everything that you need to go for that long trip, but provide a way to travel with your companion if you want to. The trailers I've seen with pets in them are not that different from trailers that are not design to haul pet's. 

Accident's can happen. 

If you are a defensive rider like I am, you most likely have never been in a motorcycle accident. That's not what I am bringing to your attention. I'm talking about the kind of accidents that can happen inside the trailer. Just remember that if you are wanting to build or convert your own trailer into a pet carrier, accidents can happen.
